8XL creates objects designed for long-term use, extending beyond the limits of ownership. Instead of embracing the idea of biodegradable materials, it focuses on enduring structures, because a long-lasting object requires fewer replacements, less production, and less energy. This reduces both the environmental impact and the cost of production.


The design approach is rooted in the mindset of brutalism. Material is present, structure is clear, and form arises from function. From this foundation, different yet related directions emerge, responding to the needs of the present.


8XL objects are produced in limited editions, conceived with generations in mind. Quantity is secondary to material quality, precision of proportions, and structural logic. Over time, they develop layers, and their presence continues to carry the traces of their original owners.
